Birgitta Jonsdottir was born in Iceland. She has lived all over the world. Birgitta is considered one of the pioneers in bringing The Arts to the Internet. Her first book of poetry, Icicles was published by Iceland's largest publisher; Almenna Bókafélagið. She has taken part in known festivals around the world. Her work has been published in anthologies, TV, Radio, Magazines, Newspapers and on the Internet.  Her poetry has been translated to twelve languages. She edited the Book of Hope & the World Healing Book. Birgitta is currently co-editing White Horses, global anthology of poetry to support the victims of the Tsunami. She is working with Maurizio Di Bona on various projects such as Joy B and Diane and an Art Correspondent for the Icelandic Grapevine.  Birgitta is a member of the Icelandic Writers Union.  More of Birgitta Jonsdottir at:
