Bio Update:
Works without complaining

Arlene Ang
,  Contributing Editor
Born to Chinese parents in the chaotic city of Manila, Arlene Ang presently lives in Venice, Italy. Depending on the needs of the moment, she is a surrogate mother to three Alsatians, unpaid dog-sitter, free- lance translator, volunteer web designer, reluctant housewife, part-time poet and occasional writer. Apart from writing, she enjoys travelling, making up excuses not to clean the house and reading trashy detective novels.

Pietro Pancamo (born in 1972) is a journalist and an editor by profession. Presently he works as editor for a biannual print publication (La Mosca di Milano) considered to be one of Italy's most important poetry magazines. His poems and short stories have won him 1st prize in "Premio città di Torino" and 2nd prize in "Trofeo Medusa Aurea" (held by the International Academy of Modern Art, Rome). Some poems of his, translated into English by Arlene Ang, have appeared in Filling Station and Snow Monkey.

Metok Phurbu
Office Manager/Production/Publicty

Born in Tibet, raised in India and Switzerland, Metola has a long history of travel and change, and she brings this unique talent to Poems NG  by changing the office furniture as often as she can and taking as many vacations that her scrooge boss allows.  In this thankless job Metola's fate is not to be noticed until something falls on the floor.   "So be it!" she sighs.

Amy Unsworth
Contributing Editor

. . . is a military spouse,  a mother, and an avid  reader who especially likes to read and write poetry.  She spends her days chasing her three boys who remind her often that life should not be taken too seriously, and that you can always buy a new coffee mug, but not new kids.  She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where she studied literature and theatre and learned how to juggle babies,  papers, and a husband all at the same time.  She loves the opportunities to travel and meet people of all different backgrounds that the military life provides,  and hopes that one day that her husband and her can agree on the perfect place to live when he retires.

Annette Marie Hyder
 Contributing Editor

Annette sees life as a poem that is constantly altering its form to accommodate one's world view/experiences: sometimes a sonnet, sometimes haiku, sometimes graffiti on a wall. She believes that in love you should not say it with flowers, you should say it with words. Diamonds, however, are always acceptable.

Here is what she writes: journalism and literature. Her publishing credits are available upon request and include print and electronic publication, magazine articles, reviews, short stories and poetry. Her poetry has been translated into German, Italian and Spanish.
