Springtime in the Park
There
is a park where I love to walk, on gravel paths that weave through
expansive green lawns. Wild flowers grow in profusion behind the split
rail fences. Heads of red, yellow, white, and blue dance merrily in the
breeze. The cherry tree, dressed in a snow white gown, waves her arms
like a maestro in the concert hall. I sit quietly on the grey stone
bench and watch the sun glint off the water.
